White Flag

For 40 days leading up to Easter, Renew Church is going to participate in a "season of surrender." Jesus once said "if you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it." Over 8 weeks, we'll uncover exactly what Jesus meant by examining his teaching and the example he lived out that took him to the cross. Alongside our series, we'll also participate in some new twists on popular Lent traditions and spiritual disciplines including Lenten sacrifice, online daily devotions, virtual prayer meetings and more! Suffering for Doing Good

In this week's message, Discipleship Pastor Clint speaks on Suffering for Doing Good, from 1 Peter 3:8-4:11. In this passage, Peter encourages Christians to follow God's will and be prepared to suffer for doing what is right, rather than seeking revenge or malicious behaviour. The passage emphasizes the importance of having a good conscience, loving one another deeply, and standing firm in the face of suffering for the sake of righteousness.
