Your generosity helps us continue our mission of helping people find their lives in a bigger story. Whether you give on a Sunday or from the convenience of home, there are several ways to give at Renew Church.
Pre-authorized payment
If you want to give the same amount regularly, you can have your donations automatically withdrawn from your bank account – convenient and easy. If you would like us to set this up for you, all you need to do is fill out a simple form and provide a void cheque from your account. You can download the form below and return along with any questions to mail@renewchurch.ca. If you would like to make changes to your recurring EFT amount, please contact us.
Interac e-transfer
Send your donation electronically from your online banking account using an INTERAC e-transfer. There are now over 200 participating financial institutions including BMO Bank of Montreal, CIBC, RBC Royal Bank, National Bank, Scotiabank, President’s Choice and TD Canada Trust. Please send INTERAC e-transfers to: give@renewchurch.ca. You do not need to set up a security question as we have Autodeposit enabled.
Sunday Offering
Donations can be made at our Sunday services. Insert cash or cheques (payable to Renew Church) into an offering envelope and deposit into our Sunday collection. Please include your name and address on the envelope so that we can issue a donation tax receipt to you at the end of the year. Personalized numbered envelopes can be requested by sending an email to mail@renewchurch.ca

How do I access my charitable giving receipt?
If you have made a contribution to the ministries of Renew Church, you can access, download and print your charitable giving receipt online. Click below for instructions:
Does the church pay processing fees when I give using a credit card?
Yes, processing fees apply to donations made by credit card through the Church Center app. These fees cost the church approximately 2.5% on every transaction.
Is there a way to reduce or avoid processing fees on my donation to the church?
The best ways to give are by Interac e-transfer or by setting up a Pre-Authorized Payments. Instructions for both of these options are provided at the top of this page. You can also give in person at our Sunday service. Cash or cheques can be deposited in the donation box at the front of the auditorium. Please enclose your donation in an envelope marked with your name and address so that we can ensure a charitable giving receipt is issued to you for your donation.
Is online giving secure?
Yes. Gifts made by Interac e-transfer and pre-authorized debit are handled by your financial institution. Gifts made through the Church Center app are processed by Stripe, a trusted Level 1 PCI-compliant processor.
What is Renew Church’s fiscal year?
Renew Church’s fiscal year runs from September 1 to August 31, aligning with the ministry calendar. However, charitable donation receipts for income tax purposes are issued based on the calendar year.
