That Man Called Jesus: A Book Club Study of the Gospel of John
Sundays, 12:30-2:00pm at the Renew Church office
6 weeks, beginning November 8, 2026
6745 Century Ave., Mississauga, ON
Curious about who Jesus really was? You've probably heard plenty of speculation about who He was and how we ought to understand Him today — but have you ever investigated the most fascinating figure in history for yourself?
This six-week, book-club-style study of the Gospel of John — an eyewitness account of Jesus' ministry on earth — will walk through what Jesus did, what He said about Himself, what others said about Him, and help you draw your own conclusions about Him. It may be the shortest book you've ever read for a book club, yet spark as much discussion as the longest.
Whether you're new to faith or reading John's Gospel for the hundredth time, you'll find thoughtful conversation in a relaxed group setting — and a fresh encounter with Jesus.
That Man Called Jesus runs Sunday afternoons, November 8 through December 13, 12:30–2:00 p.m., at the Renew Church office (6745 Century Ave., Unit 3, Mississauga, ON). Grab a quick lunch beforehand, or bring it with you — we gather at the office after the Sunday service.
