The Mix is an initiative to provide fun opportunities for bonding among multiple generations of our Renew Church family.
Join us for an unforgettable adventure at The Mix Men + Boys Camping Trip at beautiful Lake Opeongo in Algonquin Park! This one-night trip is the perfect opportunity to unwind, connect, and enjoy the great outdoors with friends, family, and fellow church members.

Remember that we will be canoeing with up to three people in each canoe with limited space and weight. Pack as lightly as possible. Avoid bringing canned foods as they weigh more.
This trip is open to all men and boys (12+ years of age), so feel free to invite friends and bring your sons along for a fantastic time together. Whether you're a seasoned camper or new to the experience, this is a wonderful chance to get away from the hustle and bustle, enjoy the peace of the wilderness, and build deeper connections.
Note that there is no electricity, running water or other utilities at these camping sites.
TRAVEL
The drive from the GTA to the canoe launch site is about 3-3.5 hours. We would encourage everyone attending to plan to take that Friday off of work early and leave by 12:00 noon from the church office parking lot. Our planned departure time from the launch site is 4:00 pm.
NOTES ABOUT REGISTERING:
- You must register each person that is attending (i.e. if you are bringing your son or a friend, be sure to choose the right quantity when making your selection and add that person to your registration).
- The liability waiver must be completed.
