Pastor Bartley Sawatsky - June 30, 2024

Am I a team player?

In his sermon on Romans 16, Pastor Bartley Sawatsky delved into the importance of being a team player within the body of Christ, drawing from the apostle Paul's extensive greetings to his co-workers in the faith. Pastor Bartley emphasized that just as Paul recognized and valued the diverse contributions of each member in the early church, we too are called to appreciate and support one another's roles and efforts. He challenged the congregation to reflect on their own attitudes and actions, asking, "Am I a team player?" By examining our willingness to collaborate, encourage, and serve selflessly, we align ourselves with the biblical model of unity and cooperation, fostering a stronger, more effective church community.
