What is a Renew Group?
A Renew Group is a small gathering of people who meet regularly to connect, share life, and explore faith together in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Why join a group?
Jesus didn’t call His disciples to simply attend a weekly service. He invited them to share life together—learning, growing, and following Him side by side. Renew Groups are built around that same idea.
Renew Groups provide a safe and welcoming environment to explore faith, ask questions, and have meaningful conversations about life and spirituality. They are also where close relationships are formed and where church begins to feel like family.
Jesus said, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35, ESV). In Renew Groups, that love is lived out in practical ways—supporting one another through difficult seasons, organizing meal trains, helping someone move, or showing care for neighbours through simple acts of service, like hosting a neighbourhood BBQ.

What do Renew Groups do?
Every Renew Group is unique, shaped by the people in it and guided by leaders who set the rhythm and schedule of the group. While no two groups look exactly the same, all Renew Groups include:
- Reading and discussing the Bible
- Sharing life and supporting one another
- Prayer
- Discussing Sunday’s message
- Serving our neighbourhoods and wider community
- Sharing meals together

Where and when do groups meet?
Renew Groups typically meet once a week in homes across Milton, Mississauga, and surrounding areas. Groups are hosted by group leaders or by members who open their homes to others.
In addition to weekly gatherings, many Renew Groups also spend time together outside of their regular meetings—celebrating milestones, sharing meals, and gathering for holidays, outings, and special events.
