A New Family Identity

In this second week in the series, Pastor Bartley Sawatsky takes us into 1 Peter 1:13-2:10. In this section, Peter urges believers to be holy, obedient, and to prepare their minds for action. He reminds them that they have been called out of darkness into God's wonderful light and to be a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession. He emphasizes the importance of submission to authority and respect for everyone. Finally, he reminds them that they have been called to do good and to share in the blessings of God.
