Every summer, our Charis Fellowship hosts a conference for the purpose of studying the Bible, fellowshipping with other believers, and equipping for ministry. This year’s conference takes place in nearby Columbus, Ohio making it an easy destination for a short spiritual retreat. Many the staff and leadership at Renew Church attend, and we would love to have you join us.

This year’s theme is How Good is the Gospel? We know the gospel is the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. But often we forget the significance of what we have been saved from and our guaranteed future. The Gospel — the saving of our souls — is not something thriving believers move on from, but rather something we move deeper into. That’s why we need to preach the Gospel to ourselves every day.

During main sessions we will engage in musical worship and receive biblical insight and instruction from Charis Fellowship pastors that will refocus our hearts on Jesus and what He did for us. Workshops will dig deeper into the Gospel message while providing practical ways we can take that message to those around us, including several ministry-specific discussions in areas such as worship, women, kids, and families. The conference also offers programming for children so you can bring the whole family!
